Paul A. Jaeger

Since 1989, Paul Jaeger has provided clients with expertise in evaluating, repairing, restoring, and maintaining 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century structures.  Paul has served as the project foreman and contributed hands-on skills on multi-faceted, historic preservation projects including the structural restoration of an 1870's Italianate, timberframed farmhouse and the rehabilitation and renovation of an 1850's, country, Greek Revival church; an 1850's Greek Revival house; a 1948, masonry church; an early 1800's mansion; and an early 1800's steeple, among others. 

In addition to owning his own historic preservation general contracting company for three years in the greater Boston area, Paul's past work experience includes six years as a Restoration Exhibit Specialist in the Preservation and Design Office of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, two years working with a Boston-area historic preservation construction contractor, 1 year as a restoration carpenter at Minute Man National Historic Park in Lexington, Massachusetts, 2 years working with a Pennsylvania restoration carpentry company, and an 8 month sabbatical managing new, beach-front construction of high-end, custom homes in California.

Paul is an appointed member of the Flemington Historic Commission reviewing projects within the Historic District that require Planning Board approval.  Paul also assists the Flemington Historic Committee with developing and reviewing a draft Historic Preservation Ordinance and Guidelines.
