Client wanted new floors to continue throughout the foyer and in the upstairs hallway, which would put the lower and top stair rises out of code. |

New floors would make the lowest stair rise too short, and the top stair rise too tall, creating a safety issue. |

Paul offered to raise the entire staircase to accomodate the new floors. The staircase was isolated from the rest of the house. |

The entire staircase was cut loose from the house, without causing damage to the staircase itself. |

We then jacked the staircase and lifted it too its new location. Temporary supports were in place. |
